Prior to problem, I missed noticing interior courtesy light was on. (In exiting, I sometimes brush to overhead light and it turns on easily) Not using the van for a couple of days, allowed the light to discharge the battery. After re-charging the battery, I started the van engine, quite easily - as is the norm'... engine accelerated normally in-place but engine immediately stops when foot is lifted off the gas pedal! The engine re-starts with the same after effect. No diagnostic codes visible

Computers have very short memory without battery power! Run the engine for awhile, even if you have to force it to run with accelerator for Idle relearn/strategy, which should fix it.
alot of these vehicles, with computers nowdays,if the battery is unhooked or goes dead.when you get it started again, some of them you have to drive for a little while so computer relearns again.
Hi Stevieray1 - I did as Pushrod and you intended to suggest. Voila! After 10 minutes of forced high idle.. the van happily idled normally. Thanks for your thoughts and assistance... plus being somewhat of a night owl. I,was surprised and thankful for the late night replies and solved the problem before being towed and arriving at the local dealership for a scalping, this morning! (:-} Have a great day! Hi Pushrod! I did as you suggested at 11:45 PM and VOILA!... after 10 minutes of forced high revs, the van continued to idle properly. Thanks, very much, for your assistance and.. being somewhat of a night owl. Being able to fix the problem, last night, saved me the costs of towing and scalping at my local Dodge dealership, this morning. Have a great day! Midnight Cowboy
