from the forums i've read,they said it's a pita to lower the transmission,and do what you did.a few said they did what you did and still the code is there or comes back on around 41-45 mph.one said he didn't do anything and left it that way and been on for 9 months and was going to continue driving it like that.one other said he drives his in 3rd gear and it never throws the code,BUT the MPG is not as good..idk?
well,try clearing or resetting the light.then try driving it in 3rd gear,see if the light comes back on.if not,try driving it like that for a while at least to get it inspected.

thanks everyone car runs great but cant get car tested because of light
