Have the same problem 1) is there a manual release - to get the top up? 2) i hear a clicking noise in drivers door when playing with the switch. I think the car is having electrical problems (Tachometer) goes on/off Travel computer has fried itself. 3) this problem happened about a year ago, chrysler mechanic was able to get it to work by passing the Switch so how. my email address if you can send answer there - rprice@shcorp.com

There is no "manual release". To raise the top is a (2) person job. With one person on either side of the vehicle, grab the Convertible top header. Both persons must slowly raise the top evenly. There will be some resistance to overcome as you are pushing hydraulic fluid through a non working system. Fuse #11 in the Power Distribution center (PDC) provides power to the relay controlling the up/down function on the hydraulic motor.
