The odometer reads 58,000 when warm takes 2-4 X to start. had tune up no chang

I would not know how to measure that. Is there a guage that can be used? My mechanic suspects a possible problem with the crankshaft sensor, but no error codes came up during diagnostics. Please advise further suggestions for troubleshooting. Thank you.
