The engine lite stays on,it codes the oil temp sensor

the lite came on when a spark plug went bad i changed plugs it runs fine dealer dont list oil temp switch one of the techs told me its the same as the engine temp sensor,just wonderd if this is true before i bought one

THERE IS A EOT SENSOR WHICH IS ENGINE OIL TEMP WHICH IS READ BY THE PCM. I CAN'T FIND LOCATION BUT IT SAYS ITS READ BY THE CAMSHAFT OIL PRESSURE.IT DETECTS TEMP BASED ON OIL THAT IS WORN OUT,TRY CHANGING OIL 1ST AND RESET LIGHT
