What is your question?
Jeep is hesitant to start, but will within a few seconds....sometimes it takes a little longer than others, but I'm wondering if there is a way with this information given if you can tell me whether you think it's a battery problem or an alternator problem.

usually when the battery light is on,the alternator is failing/not charging.the battery is for starting it,then the alternator takes over, and also maintaining the battery charge.you can take it to Autozone and they can load test the battery and test the alternator,it's free.but the battery must have a full charge on it before they can test it while installed on the vehicle.
