If it is the brake lights it could be a failed brake light switch at the pedal if it is the marker lights license plate light and front marker lights the light switch on the steering column has most likely failed.

This happened on my 1993 also. At first I thought it was break light switch buy after seeing small pieces of rubber on my floor mat,, it ended up being the rubber piece up by the break pedal had dry rotted away. Easy fix and the rubber grommet needed was under $5. I'm thinking that's what visitor above me is referring to as well, however, I only had one not two. Make sure you have a flashlight, having small hands is a plus also.

there are 2 little gromets on the arm of the brake pedal under the dash. theres are little wholes in the lever where the gromets go and then they push a button to engage the brake lights. well they brake so you can see the wholes, just tape a coin over the whole on the front side of the lever.
