I'm 45. Love Nissans and working on them. I've owned a 1980 & 1983 280zx, 1989 & my current car 1993 240sx and serviced all cars myself. I'm not certified but I've had plenty of hands on experience for about 25 years by helping my father and just taking an interest in the automotive industry. I can do almost anything a certified mechanic is qualified for right in my garage at home. Only thing I don't do is engine rebuilds or transmission work but only because I don't have all the tools needed or the space to do big jobs. So therefore, I haven't put much focus on that field such as reading how-tos and online media, such as YouTube to learn more about how to do these services. My specialty is the Nissan 240sx with the KA series engine. I can change a pcv valve in these. Anyone who owns these cars knows what a pain that is to do.
