Stops blowing cold air when idle

What is your question?

My 2015 q50 stops blowing cold air when idle for 30 min when it's above 100 degrees outside I eat in my car for my hour lunch, but it only does it when it's above 100 degrees other than that it works perfectly I went to a Infiniti they replaced compresser and condenser, but I'm still having the same issue they looked at it again and said that's normal? That no issues showed up when they checked it

What makes this problem better or worse?

When it’s 100 degrees out

How long has your 2015 INFINITI Q50 had this problem?

I just got this car two weeks ago happened 2 day I got it

While A/C is operating - must have proper airflow into the engine bay - the cooling fans can't supply the necessary air flow for 30 minutes in 100° heat - at highway speeds - *ram air* flowing into the engine bay provides the cooling that's why A/C output is colder. The A/C *condenser* in front of the radiator is what need the airflow as well as the radiator itself. It is not uncommon to experience this in any vehicle under the same conditions.

Pre 1996 vehicles used a different refrigerant - (R12) - which had a much better cooling curve than the refrigerants more modern vehicles use .. It simply did a better job.

My 2012 impala never did that, I would even have it on for longer in the same weather conditions. Also the loaner car they let me borrow which was the same Q50 just a 2017 I had it on for an 1hr and it did not stop blowing cold air. So im not sure what would be my next step to repair this, i barely purchased this vehicle 2 weeks ago.

when you notice that it's not cooling properly, pop the hood open & make sure that both cooling fans are blowing hard (they have a low, mid & high speed), and that the fan shrouds are intact - no cracks or breaks or gaps. Also, make sure that your engine temp gauge on the dash is reading just about in the center. I have seen IPPM E/R (which contains the fan relay) overheat when stressed & intermittently not control the fans properly. If the fan operation or the engine temp is abnormal, then repair is necessary, if not - if may be an engineering flaw in which all of that make & model have the same AC problem.
