What is your question?
About 2 weeks ago we had the brakes done and had them look at a squealing noise coming from the belts, they replaced the serpentine belt and the squealing noise was still there. They then replaced a pulley that they thought was causing the problem with the squealing. Now 2 weeks later my wife starts the van up after work, it starts squealing and then the van dies on her. It did this 3 times in 2 miles. I come and drive it home it squealed a couple more times but did not die on me. The van has about 132000 miles on it.

Something that is belt driven is failing (Alternator,AC Compressor,Power steering pump etc) have a different shop handle this because the first shop should have trouble shot this in the first place and you can find a shop here www.repairpal.com/directory and check repair prices here www.repairpal.com/estimator
is it a squealing noise or a chirp. after a long road trip my windstar made this noise & then completely stalled out on me in the middle of a busy intersection. I turned the key off & then the car started right back up. It hasn't stalled out on me again but I get this chirping noise a lot. There is no rhyme or reason as to when it makes this noise. I've had 3 mechanics look at it & diagnose it & they can't find what's causing the noise
