speedometer problems

What is your question?

the speedometer does not start working until i get it to about 60mph but after i get it up to that speed it works fine for about a day. the next day when i start it up and drive down the road it wont work again so i don't know how to fix my problem.

It is likely that your vehicle speed sensor (VSS) located on the tailshaft of the transmission on the drivers side s failing intermittently or that the wiring connector terminals are not making good contact. These terminals ahouls also be clean and free of oil or debris.
