I was using the radio as reference for how loud the knocking sound was. Unfortunately my regular mechanic doesn't work on foreign cars so before taking it to a someone else, which means we'll be paying more than $45/hr, I thought we could get some suggestions as to what could be wrong so we can either fix it ourselves or at least know what could be wrong before having the new repair guy rip us off. It's happened to us before....
Surely your mechanic could at least take a look at it!.. Ain't no way to guess at an 'intermittent' noise over the internet!.. That will help that is, be wrong every time... I'm sorry but that's just how it is.
The TrailVoy forum I belong to is extremely helpful. They have helped us on many occasions. A lot of asking and answering sometimes but diagnosis has always been correct. I guess not all forums are alike. I'll cancel my registration to this site.
