Sometimes i turn the key and the dash lights come on/fan etc. Then the engine will start. Sometimes I turn the key and no lights or power and the engine won't start. Usually if i hit the steering wheel or open my door and close it a little hard that makes the lights come on and I can start it so that makes me think its a wiring issue.
But the last time I tried the dash lights came on very dimly and fan was blowing weakly and the engine wouldn't start. This makes me think battery but that doesn't make sense for when I hit it and it starts working.
I've had to start it in the past by touching a screwdriver to a terminal on the starter and to a ground but that's not even working.
