Running ruff, put in park steering wheel locked and key won't turn at all

No I shut it off and went inside for a bit when I came back out I can't turn the key and steering wheel is locked car is shut off

Grab steering wheel with left hand, *forcefully* turn the wheel back and forth while turning the key at the same time... Don't just play around it, rock the steering back and forth like you mean it while turning the key! .. Running rough is another matter, let me know if more help is needed.

K I will try what would make it do this and if it doesn't work is there another way?

This is a very common problem .. I'm 99.9 % sure that will get ya going... Steering wheel lock is holding pressure on the key cylinder, the front tires/wheels are not pointing 'straight' ahead .... Funny I went out to do that this morning and it started like nothing happened very weird! Thank you for telling me how to get it to work I will def try that if it happens again. When we chatted this morning it was about 2am here and freezing so fig I would wait till it got light out once again thank you and have a very merry Christmas also
