It's a 07 Dodge Dakota 3.7 l 6 cyl. It has a rough idle and is very slow to accelerate. When it started acting this way a red lighting bolt light came on on the dashboard. The rpms are normal. Could this be the iac the tps or the map sensor?
What makes this problem better or worse?
It idles rough mostly but will stop and idle normal for a few seconds
How long has your 2007 Dodge Dakota had this problem?

Check your pcv valve mines was idling rough and would sound like it was backfiring from time to time. If that doesnt fix it it could be your computer software. Go to dodge and have them fix the software. They had a re call on 2007 dodge Dakotas
