No, H--L no, 1/2 that is a fair price!! Plus the seal. 30 min. job TOPS for a mechanic. Takes less time than an oil change. 15 min. at my place and i will put money on it!! IF all you need is a seal. But i am still going to charge you for 30. Seal 6.00 fluid 3.00 and 40.00 labor. That is enough.

In all fairness though, some shops have a one hour minimum!

many shops will charge by going rate. they have data base they refer to for times per job. every shop has it's own shop by hour shop rate. if you are lucky, you may find a good mechanic who owns their own shop out rite. most shop's i've ventured through charge $80.00 to $100.00. the lowest rate i've seen was $60.00 per/hr. that guy owned the property, shop, and the equiptment out rite.
