Rattle on rear right

What is your question?

There is a rattle on the back right side sounds like it metalic. I'm thinking it's the strut, but maybe not. The batery and cables are on that side and I'm pretty sure it's not them. There is nothing else loose in the trunk. Any idead?

Could be a broken shock or shock mount ( only came with shocks no struts ) or a exhaust pipe hanger could have separated, do you have any warranty remaining on this vehicle?

Yes, I'm still in warranty so I'll go have that looked at.

GM has issued a technical servie bulletin re clunk/thunk noises when going over bumps-rear suspension on 2008 CTS models. Has to do with bushings on the strut mounts. Had mine serviced and the noise went away.
