My heater was squealing then something made a noise and the heat quit working.

What is your question?

Does the heater have a belt to it like a serpentine belt and what does it cost to repair the heater so that it will blow air again?

What makes this problem better or worse?

Nothing it did this in warm and cold temperatures. Made a high squealing noice before it quit working.

How long has your 2005 Volvo XC90 had this problem?
