I hit a curb during a snowstorm and now the steering is VERY loose, and there is very poor control of the car. Also, the DCTC service required light came on. What do you think it could be?

You have wrecked your car - have qualified personnel perform required inspection to determine damages. Continued operating until repaired is a safety hazard!
