Things to do buying a used S80 t6 that hasnt been started in a while?

Im buying a used 2001 Volvo T6 from a buddy at work for really cheap...car has 91k original miles and is great looking condition. Its hasnt been started in a while and needs a new battery as well as an oil leak that looks to be the camshaft seal but not sure. What should I do prior to attempting to start and drive home other than the obvious battery, oil...any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
