did not hear any noise. Just died. 110,000 miles. Had gone barely 1/4 of a mile when it died. Have been told by local mechanic that does not work on foreign cars that possibly skipped time and water pump/valve broke?

‘IF’ the timing belt has indeed failed - there is like internal engine damage. Highly recommend having ‘qualified personnel’ perform *hands-on* inspection / evaluation. Good luck!
