No accelerations

What is your question?

Was driving down a hill, put my foot on the gas and nothing. Just a high rev and when I put the car in park or any other gear there was a terrifying noise like a sharp grind. Replaced engine in November 2017 - only 180,000 on the car, about 90 on the engine.

What makes this problem better or worse?

One of the drive axles has become dislodged from the transmission .. This also makes the PARK position inoperable so be sure the parking brake is set. You'll need to have vehicle towed to local auto repair facility for *hands-on* inspection and repair.
