Cannot unlock car from outside

What is your question?

My keyfob batteries have been replaced, it is not the batteries. If car gets locked (from inside lock button), cannot unlock doors from outside with key fob NOR key. Likewise, trunk will not unlock. If I do lock my car from inside (on accident now), I cannot physically get back in without calling a tow truck for Lockout Service. SUGGESTIONS would be appreciated

Do the power locks work? If so, I would have the key fob re-programmed.

power locks work from inside, yes. But the fob does not. So must I take it to a Volvo dealer to have it reprogrammed?

Not sure , cause I deal with Honda mostly , ...but do you have an owners manual?? IF the remotes for keyless entry are not programmable with a scanner(computer) , then the procedure may be outlined in the manual.--VOLVO has no key access on passenger door either?
