I got quoted for a replacement job on the front and struts for $1000. Is that a good price for this car? Is it something I may be able to do on my own?

I don't think there are any Quick,Complete,Ready Struts for the 08 Volvo S40?
The suggestion should prompt a parts search - $100.00 per strut - complete. A grand for this job, even with alignment, is just a ‘tad’ high - I think!
