Excelleration Problems
What is your question?
When excellerating on high speeds over 60mph, the car will not respond to pressure on the gas pedal occasionally. If the gas pedal is released during movement and pressure is resserted onto the gas pedal, there is a lag response to acceleration.

Checking for codes is a good place to start and now that most software upgrades on volvos are now free (not all but most updates) it would be the best place to start but it may have a fuel supply issue ie like a bad regualtor but best to be checked by a pro...
You'll want to have the vehicle checked for any diagnostic trouble codes stored in the engine and transmission computers, and see if there's any software upgrades available for the computers as well. You have Mckevitt or several Independents that can address this for you in Berkeley, just make sure the shop has the ability to update the software (this takes special equipment).
