check engine light on cooling fan on when engine is cold would this activate

was just notified today that cooling fan runs when engine is cold. No diagnostic reading. How do I shut off or reset light?

just made aware of issue today that fan is running when engine is cold. Just wanted to know if this would cause the check light to activate. usually when I am due for oil change this is when the light goes on but turns it self of as soon as I begin driving. This time the light is constant even when I am driving. when hooking up dignotic no code reading.
