What is your question?
I'd like to know where this fuel pressure regulator is located, and about what it looks like. The Site says it's the fuel pressure regulator or the vacuum line attached to it that is causing it to have starting problems. I've had a diagnostic run a couple of times and no codes come up, which, according to this Site, is common. This regulator or the plumbing to it seems to be my problem.

do a search on part number 800-518,made by GP Sorensen and it will show you a picture of what it looks like. Check the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator to see if yours is cracked. If it is cracked and you find any fuel in there its the fuel pressure regulator. If there is no fuel, just replace the vaccum line. This is a common issue so you can search the enthusiast forums for details. Misdiagnosed as the fuel filter and changing it did help but did not solve it. Try fixing the vacuum line first as it's a lot cheaper than getting the entire fuel pressure regulator ($230 from Volvo). The entire replacement of the unit involved 1 bolt and takes 10 minutes if you have no idea what you are doing. The regulator is under the throttle cover on the end of the fuel rail.
Thanks for the swift reply and the info. I'm making an appointment with my mechanic to check this out. Hope it's the vacuum hose, though, but I'll take the checkbook anyway.
your welcome.you probably can do it yourself.the regulator is $120.00 if its bad,and if its the vaccum line, vaccum hose is maybe $1.00 per foot.good luck.
