What is your question?
My Anti-skid Control light came on, which means the system is OFF. Pushing the switch to re-activate the ASC system, does nothing. I don't know if the two problems are related, but I no longer seem to have AWD. Got high-centered on snow, and only the front wheels were turning, not the rear wheels.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing
How long has your 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan had this problem?
The ASC light came on for the first time about a week ago.

You definitely will need to have the traction and stability control system evaluated as it is affecting the operation. There's not much to be done other than a diagnostic test and following a diagnostic process.
When the vehicle is 'hoisted' - the rear wheels have no reason to 'spin' - there is 0 traction available. In any event - a professional scan test is going to be required to discover the actual failure. No way to diagnose here 'online' and no use guessing at it.
Many AWD vehicles need front and rear wheels in contact with ground to operate correctly.
