I'll take a shot... 'IF' you mean the power SOCKET that's like a cigarette lighter socket... Try turning phone OFF.. Plug in charger cable to phone and power outlet. Turn phone ON.
Thanks for reply. I mean the Media cable inside the center console. It currently has an attachment for the old ipad/iphone 4 (the large flat one) I need to convert it to a cable with the new smaller iphone 5/6 power. Not sure what media cable will work w/ Tiguan 2012.
