What is your question?
So I have already replaced the spark plugs with NGK's Part # PFR7S8EG. After driving the car about a week later the check engine light came back on and the same code is back on. Mind you the vehicle runs pretty smooth.
How long has your 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan had this problem?
Going on a month now

Hello, Which engine do you have, and what other codes do you have showing up? What is written on top of the engine cover?
Keep the spark plugs that were removed - they'll provide useful clues of engine operations to the technician that will is repairing your vehicle - eventually. â–ªï¸https://repairpal.com/repair-shopsâ–ªï¸

That's what I figured, there is likely a load of carbon built up on the intake valves. It's because the direct injection system. Gasoline normally cleans valves, but the direct injection does not spray on the valves, so they get VERY gummed up and choke the engine. Also, you may be having fuel delivery issues due to the high pressure fuel pump, but that is typically noted by additional fault codes. If the intake valve cleaning has never been done, or not within 60k miles, it should be done either way. Are you lacking power and getting poor fuel mileage? Any other fault codes?
