The digit in the vin is 3 and is a 2012 Passat SE with a 2.5 Liter Engine. What I understand from your reply is that this model does not use an inline fuel filter but only the one in the fuel pump module. Thanks for your time and effort.
your welcome.that is correct.they started doing this on lots/most vehicles a while ago.there is no inline fuel filter unless someone added one,which is unlikely.
