Just replaced the battery and now stereo doesn't turn on

if the radio says enter code,look in the dash/glove box,see if there is a sticker or label on the left or right side of the door of the glove box with a radio code on it,look everywhere in there.not sure about VW,but that's where Honda puts their radio code.

Remove radio and take to VW dealer service department. They should at no charge provide you with the radio security code after checking the radio serial number in their computer- ask for a photocopy of the procedure to enter the radio security code into the radio (easy.)
