One front tire can turn ten degrees or so while all others are on the ground.

What is your question?

I have an AWD Volkswagen Passat. When I jacked up my car to replace a tie rod end, before I took anything apart I noticed that I could rotate the wheel by 10° or so even though the other front wheel and both back wheels were on the ground and the parking brake was on. I've also noticed a clunking sound and feeling of something shifting when accelerating from a stop or coming to a stop. These signs indicate that there is a worn part somewhere in the axle/wheel assembly, or is some rotation normal? I have also noticed wear on outer edges of front tires but I also had alignment issues until recently so that is more likely associated with that. Thanks Dan
