What is your question?
180,000 KM 2014 trouble starting (turns over, faintly catches, then stalls) only after I put gas in the tank regardless of the tank level i.e 1/4/,1/2, ..all other times starts like a charm on the first try.
What makes this problem better or worse?
only when adding gas
How long has your 2014 Volkswagen Jetta had this problem?
a month

Hello, Remove and see if you can blow air through the EVAP purge valve, located on the intake manifold. When they stick open, it acts as a vacuum leak. You should not be able to blow air through it when it is disconnected. It's called an N80 valve most places.
Until repairs can be completed - holding accelerator pedal to floor will help restart after re-fueling.
Ok, I'll keep it in mind Thanks very much for taking the time
This may or may not be applicable here .. When refueling - overfilling or topping off fuel tank should be avoided .. As ambient temperatures rise - fuel inside the tank expands and can damage EVAP system components by forcing raw fuel into these components. Just saying.
YES! So many EVAP components get destroyed because drivers want that last few drops in the tank. There should be a sign next to every EVAP equipped vehicle's fuel cap that says "Do not top off".... ;)
Thanks, I'll give it a shot much appreciated !
