What is your question?
Hi everyone, The battery in my 02 VW Jetta dies after just a few days of inactivity, so I'm looking to replace it. Does anyone have any recommendations on what type of battery to buy specifically, or does it not really matter? What price range should I expect to say at my local auto parts store? Any other tips for replacing the battery other than the basics? I listed the car as 4 cylinder, but it might actually be a 2.0L 4 cylinder. Would that make a difference in the kind of battery I need? Thanks in advance for helping this novice first timer. Keith

make sure the battery doesnt have a paracitic draw (something using power when it shouldnt) draining it like a seat switch stuck or a reading light on. if the battery is old then replacement is the most likely fix. make sure the battery you get bolts down securely. i've seen plenty that were left loose, and if you have a vent hose, get a replacement battery that also has one.
Napa, Interstate, Exide, and Sears Diehard all make great batteries, good idea to call ahead and get a price quote over the phone. Sears autocenters will install the battery also
