What is your question?
With new battery, engine still wouldn't crank. Could it be a fuse or a relay, or is it the starter? The car was running fine yesterday although I left the headlights on for a short while. Even then, I was able to start it without any problems.

Were you able to start it with the old battery after discharge, or why did you change the battery. The security system should be checked first, then activate readiness mode.
That was the simplest solution to try first. As I've read more into this, I don't recall hearing a click in the solenoid, not that I paid any attention to that in the past. When we tried jump starting it and it wouldn't turn over, I thought that changing the battery might be the first thing to do. Thanks!
I always put a jumper box to the system before changing the battery because of the relearn problems. First check that 12v is at the starter solenoid, smaller wire with ignition in start, the red/blk wire. If not, check that it is park or neutral, or clutch in if manual. If you use a heavy wire, you can test the starter a the same plug to see if the starter tries to engage to double check.
