make a roaring noise but it quits when you turn left, why is this?

Wheel bearing!

Sounds like a wheel bearing. When you turn it puts pressure on the bearing making the noise go away. You should have this fixed right away it poses a safety problem. The next sound you hear may be crash then sirens. The wheel can lock up and cause loss of control.
