What is your question?
I decided to work on a beetle for s friend. She told me it was a fuel line that got damaged while new fuel pump was installed. Well i fixed the line and now the car wont start. I have fuel to the fuel rail and the spark looks good. Any ideas?

Hello, Scan for codes. Leave the car in the ON position, and listen for a popping noise from the back of the car. Remember, the fuel system must be pressurized at least partially or this engine may never start. The 1.8/2.0t engines are both bad about EVAP issues. Also, how have you confirmed spark and fuel? Did you check if starter fluid in the throttle body would start the engine? I have pretty extensive knowledge of the 1.8T engine, and I will tell you this: if you have not yet scanned for codes, you will never find the issue without swapping every part on the car. Please respond as thoroughly as possible so we can figure it out.

Pushrod, I'll mention it.
Thanks.
