alternator should have been tested before buying a new battery/starter.now,if the new battery is dead or drained,then it must be charged with a battery charger and have a full charge on it before the alternator can be tested. OR,if the battery drains over night or so while it's off,then you need to test for a Parasitic Battery Drain.copy and paste link below,see video.
