Why does my back floor board Stand in water? When I siliconed my sunroof?

It has rained a couple inches. I went to volkswagen yesterday the lady said it could be from the sunroof drains from going to the front of my car? So i need answers on how to fix it?

It is quite possible the drain tubes are clogged - however you should keep in mind your car is 20 years old - those rubber seals tend to get hard and brittle over time. I have personally stopped those types leaks with RTV SILICON sealer - regardless of what others might think or post here on this site .. That fix renders the sunroof inoperable but that’s better than the alternative. You can always have qualified personnel evaluate this issue *hands-on* and give you their option. Good luck with it!
