Signall lights flashing fast inside not working outside

Mechanic says just need to replace all sockets, lights work when held in place. Apparently the sickets,are original 20 years old. Should be about $100 fix.

Poor circuit connections are 1st suspect! .. The sockets do wear out - over time. Still a wise decision to have qualified personnel check it out - hands on. Normally - the DIYer isn’t equipped to do a proper repair. Thanks for the reply.
