My 2008 Yaris died when taking off from a stop light would not start told whole

What is your question?

Mechcanic said my whole fuel system needs replaced. Is that even possible? No warning, first time it has ever happened, never had any problems what so ever with this car. Told me 1100.00 would fix it.

Here online - it is difficult to disagree with mechanic that has the distinct advantage of *hands-on* evaluation.. Can always get another *hands-on* option..

Now we have no idea exactly what transpired between you and the mechanic .. However it does seem a little strange the entire fuel system is at fault..
