Dropped a bead down the ac vent and want to get it out.... How can I get It out without having to take it apart. It rattles when driving
Other than disassembly of the dash and the plenum, I don't know of any "easy" way. You could access the cabin air filter and see if it made it's way to that area. Doubtful though. Some kind of flexible rod with a magnet if the bead is metal and able to be picked up by a magnet... But yeah...not good!
Maybe try bore scope in vent / duct to see exact location of bead - that’ll also determine if it is accessible at all or not.. Bore scope should snake right down to location. With some of that extra sticky clear Gorilla tape configured in just the right way - may be able to retrieve bead also. Again - good luck!
