What is your question?
Took my key fob to get new battery cause doors were not locking/unlocking. After checking it, it was working fine and transmitting a signal but something was not allowing the signal to be received. What could it be? Does it have a fuse? Where?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Doesn't work at all, have to manually open
How long has your 2016 Toyota Tundra had this problem?

Hello, sounds like something is interfering, like perhaps an aftermarket alarm. The key fobs and control modules in the vehicle are otherwise pretty drama free. Look for any possible added on components that could be causing you a problem. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
Re-programming is common fix - it’s not difficult but you’ll need *hands-on* assistance.
