What is your question?
i am concerned about saving gas in my car. just bought some bosch platinum spark plugs and wanted to consider changing from NGK. i haven't been driving the truck until recently and don't even have that much use on the NDK that i changed out a couple years ago. I probably have less than 10k miles on the current NGK and it's a 6 cylinder 3.4 L 2003 Toyo 2 WD truck SR5. My mechanic is only going to charge me $60 to change them out. I'm wondering if I should do it now or wait a while until I can get spark plug wires and do a full tune up. there is no engine light on or any rough idle at this time. i just like to stay on top of things and try to improve the mileage when I have extra cash to do maintenance. any feed back on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

2 - BIG MISTAKES: 1 - considering installing BOCH PLATINUM PLUGS! 2 - Removing perfectly good OEM brand NGK (DENZO) spark plugs! Look elsewhere for improvements - 'IF' any are available. What I have posted has been proven to be factual - by YEARS of turning wrenches personally and witnessing the results.
