What is your question?
My engine is running fine. 2005 Toyota PreRunner V6 automatic transmission and I Can not shift into drive even when the pedal is being pushed down Could it be a problem in the brakes, wiring, Could it be a bad sensor? WHAT AND WHERE is the mechanism or sensor that prevents a vehicle from shifting into drive? Why can't i shift out of park when i Push on the the brake pedal?

Hello, the brake light switch at the brake pedal sends the electrical signal to release the shift lever interlock. Check this area, wiring, switch, positioning of the switch to see what has failed. Check any blown fuses.
‘IF’ brake lights are indeed functional > Use this link to a video showing shifter interlock OVERRIDE : https://youtu.be/H0SRG_-z3s0 Drive vehicle to local auto repair facility for *hands-on* testing / repair. ‘IF’ brake lights are NOT functioning - reply here for more information. (A helper - or reflective background surface - will be handy when checking brake light function) Good luck!
