why wont my truck go in first and reverse gear?

Clutch is not releasing properly.. With engine off, shift to 1st gear.. Start engine and see if truck wants to creep forward with clutch depressed.. This is more prevalent in low gear or reverse .. Check fluid in clutch master cylinder to start with... Pump clutch pedal first then it should go into gear.. Possible slave cylinder issue.
