Stopped on me when driving 50mph and wouldn't start after I stopped..distributor cap & button are replaced along with fuel pump and filter, what's wrong?

Ok, then it's not the timing *belt*.. Since its most likely you don't have a spark tester... Pull plug wire out and stick a # 2 Phillips screwdriver in where the plug goes.. *Holding the handle* with the shank 1/4 inch from any metal engine part, see if it has spark while helper cranks engine... Spark should easily jump the 1/4 gap from shank to metal ground... Got to know if it is ignition or fuel...... Keep in mind this fuel pump does NOT turn on by simply turning the key on.. It has to have rpm signal from distributor.. Engine cranking! .. Post spark test results for more help.
