What is your question?
we own Toyota Solara and dashboard is cracking all over. We also own a Lexus with the same issue and for months Lexus denied that it is manufacture defect and finally after posting many pictures online by many customers and also creating Facebook page along with complaints online on Lexus webpage, they finally recalled the cars. Toyota should take responsibility as well. please include us on any class action lawsuit class action!!! but let's not give up!! it is a manufacture defect and they know it.

While I agree that the dash should not crack in any climate, I can't help but notice this occurs in Florida almost exclusively! .. I see it ALL the time hear on RepairPal.. Reason I even responded is maybe on the new dash, if it is the same material, keep it covered or treated with something!.. Maybe post findings from manufacturer for other owners.. Just saying...
Not really. The Lexus was up north for a while in a garage when it all started. Many Lexus owners and Toyota from all over, not necessarily FL claim to have the same issues.
Obviously you have researched this issue more than I as you have the problem.. I'm just stating what I've read here on this site over the years I have been answering questions. Here at the shop in VA., we do not have anyone complaining about this nor do we see it doing the state inspections on vehicles that requires removing the decal from the windshield and putting the new one back on, in which a cracked dash would certainly draw attention!.. I'm not saying a problem doesn't exist by any means... It's just not happening here!!... Also was just trying to keep this from happening again for the customers that do get a new dash.. That's my main concern!.. I also own 2 Toyotas so yeah, I'm concerned... I hope everyone with this problem gets it taken care of at no cost to them!!!
