What is your question?
I ama looking to buy a 2006 Toyota Sienna with 159k miles and the owner said he's never replaced the timing belt. He said the dealership said if it went out it wouldn't harm the engine. From what I've read that maybe true if it's a non-interference engine but not if it's an interference engine. How do I know if it is or isn't?

Due to valve train design changes > and under certain conditions > 2006 - 3.3L 3MZ-FE V6 W/ V VTi - should be considered as an Interference engine .. The best route to take is to replace the timing components as per manufacturers recommendations! .. It is obvious this has got to be done ASAP to prevent the vehicle from breaking down on highway, so that should be considered before purchase .. Also, one has to wonder what else may have been neglected! .... Just saying.
